Wagga Wagga

Spring photos for Spud. Looking down the street towards the shops from The Quest in Wagga.

Off to Temora to see Janet and crew. She was ironing!! They were going out to a work event so I guess she can be excused. Darcy was helping himself in the kitchen.

Balranald

Bug city all the way from Berri to Balranald! Had to stop and put some bug protection over the radiator, but of course that was the worst of it.

Thursday night we stopped at the accommodation on the golf course at Berri. It was really quiet and comfortable. Lovely to have a room with a back door looking out!

The photo of Bruce shows the golf course, the pool and our motel room in the background. We walked over to the tavern on the other side for our dinner.

We visited Renmark. Lovely looking out along the water and reading about the history of the area. Interesting how the bridges were built.

Barossa Valley

We visited a 'boutique' winery and were really looked down on, and she suggested we try a different one, so we did. They didn't charge here for tasting, and they had rum and raisin port which was really smooth, so had to buy some of that. We weren't allowed to take any photos of the painting which were done on huge wine vats and had an explanation with each painting about settlers and where and how they settled. A lot of reading but very valuable. You can only see it as they're scared that someone will copy them.
