Here are our lovely friends Joyce and John on their deck. They used to live next door to us. They said they felt like a King and Queen sitting in the back of our car being driven to lunch and home again.


John had to point out his neighbour who walks his dog every day, no matter what.

Our bed had a red blanket, looks nice with our pillows from home, doesn't it??
Hmm, frozen banana covered in chocolate, yummie.

The puppet shop was so much fun, the lady who owns it was very quiet, but the marionette she was holding had a lot to say. We met a lot of his friends while we were there. Still raining but we're having fun anyway!!

November 7, 2009 Hat Head stop on our way to Coffs Harbour.

Our first stop on the way up the North Coast was Hat Head.

It was wet but not too wet to walk through the gravel and puddles and enjoy the view. The water was running off from higher up. On a clearer day it would've been a bit hot, it was rather humid today but clouded over.

We stayed overnight in Port Macquarie and visited the Churches of Christ and then Timbertown. While at Timbertown, we received a phone call to say that Bruce's Dad had become very ill so we returned home.

Inexpensive accommodation at Port Macquarie, but not much room to move about. Ocean Breeze Motel it was called!!

Then a nice sit in front of the water....so relaxing. Off to see John and Joyce tomorrow in Urunga tomorrow.
